Tour de Belle Ile en Mer

The SNBI Belle-Île-en-Mer Sailing Race, organized by the Belle-Île Nautical Society, will take place on Wednesday, August 17th. Spectators and photographers should meet at noon at Pointe du Skeul. The SNBI Belle-Île-en-Mer Sailing Race, departing from Le Palais, will take place on Monday, August 17th. This regatta, a long-standing tradition on Belle-Île, is organized by the islanders and takes place in a friendly atmosphere. It is organized in partnership with Le Palais and is registered with the French Sailing Federation (FFVoile). The regatta is open to all crews, including occasional sailors. You don't need to be a seasoned racer to participate, just enjoy a great day of sailing! Program for August 17th: - Start of the race around 10:00 AM for monohulls and around 11:00 AM for multihulls, - Prize-giving ceremony at 7:00 PM, - Crew dinner on the quayside, always a very convivial affair, after the race at 8:00 PM. Crews based on the mainland are invited to join the race in Le Palais on the evening of Sunday, August 16th, either directly or via the planned connections departing from La Trinité and Lorient. They will be able to spend two nights in port, before and after the race. The boats will be moored in the outer harbor, except in the event of strong north to east winds, in which case they will be moored in the inner harbor.
