Belle-Île-en-Mer, 1920. Alice is the lighthouse keeper's daughter. That night, the fog is so thick that no light penetrates. They must quickly sound the siren to warn the ships along the nearby coast. Since her older brother hasn't returned from the war, Alice inherits this task. At just 10 years old, she sets off into the pitch-black night. Thoughts race through her mind: fears, memories, hopes, and beliefs.
