In the presence of Sylvain Tesson, writer and storyteller, with Ian McCamy, violinist. Musical prelude: Ludwig van Beethoven's String Trio with Saskia Lethiec, Laurent Camatte, and Christophe Beau. Sylvain Tesson continues his poetic and physical exploration of landscapes. From Cape Horn to the Faroe Islands, from Brittany to Tasmania, he climbs "The Pillars of the Sea," rocky spires detached from the coast. He sees in these oceanic bell towers a symbolic embodiment of the human figures of the hermit and the dissident. Only the traditional Celtic music of American violinist Ian McCamy could illustrate these emblems of the sea's struggle against the coastal cliffs. Waves crash, birds cry out, rocks crumble, only the violin holds firm. Will humanity rise above this furious dance? In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the church in Bangor at 6:00 PM.
