How long does a crossing last?

Expect to spend 50 minutes aboard between departing from Quiberon and disembarking in Belle-île, and vice versa.

What is BreizhGo's port of departure?

BreizhGo Océane serves the islands of Morbihan: Groix, Houat and Hoëdic and of course Belle-île! The departure port for Belle-île is located at the extreme tip of the Quiberon Peninsula, at Quiberon-Port Maria . The ferry terminal welcomes you all year round.

Yes, BreizhGo will ship any type of vehicle. The rate varies depending on the type and length of your vehicle. For a car, expect between 195€ and 500€ round trip depending on the length. The round trip fare does not include: passenger crossings, external loads – loaded roof rack, luggage rack, loaded bicycle or similar racks. For your bike, expect between 16€ and 25€ round trip . Is it necessary to buy tickets in advance?

Reservation is very strongly recommended for all departures on weekends, holidays and during school vacations. We recommend, in particular, that you book the round-trip crossing with your vehicle as soon as possible as the number of seats is very limited. Depending on the availability of seats, it is possible to buy your ticket at the ferry terminal up to 20 minutes before the scheduled departure of the boat for pedestrian crossings and up to 45 minutes before the departure for vehicle crossings.

Is a health pass required?

No, at this time, no health pass is required for crossings.

Le Palais, Belle-Île’s small capital, is served year-round by BreizhGo Océane. There are several daily departures in each direction on a pair of ferries, “Vindilis” and “Bangor”. Each ship has capacity for 35 or so cars, bicycles and 350 to 399 passengers.

Embark for a 50 minute journey to paradise!

During the months of July and August, a light ferry offers daily crossings from Quiberon to the port of Sauzon. This ferry, the Kerdonis, is not equipped to carry bicycles.

Good to know

Accessing the Quiberon peninsula by road can be difficult, especially during the high season!

Plan for traffic jams along the single road leading on and off the peninsula, and anticipate parking solutions in advance for more serenity.

If you must embark with your vehicle, please arrive 45 minutes before departure, and plan for 30 minutes if your crossing only involves pedestrians.

If you plan on taking the bus to Quiberon (Auray – Quiberon BreizhGo line 1) please check connection times before booking your ferry tickets. Anything under 15 minutes between the arrival of a bus and departure of the ferry should be avoided if possible.
