Pottery wheel throwing is a fascinating technique for shaping and learning to work with clay. During this workshop, you will learn how to prepare the clay, master the throwing techniques, and trim your pieces. This workshop for adults takes place over three days to help you progress at your own pace. The program: Day 1: Kneading - centering techniques; The cylinder - wall regularity; Day 2: Small vases and closed necks; Open forms - bowls; Day 3: Plates; Trimming of 2 pieces thrown on the first day; Cleaning the work area. At the end of the workshop, you will select 2 pieces that you wish to keep. They will dry in the studio and undergo a bisque firing. Allow 3 weeks to receive your pieces. You can then either take them home as bisque-fired pieces or schedule a glazing workshop. Hours: 9 am to 5 pm, with a one-hour lunch break. Dates: May 15, 16, and 17, 2026. Price: 390 euros.
