Stage de Raku

with Sarah Mesnay. I invite you to come and experience a magical moment around fire and earth and discover a technique for cooking pottery of Japanese origin. To learn about rakù is to discover the sensual pleasure of modeling the earth and the joy of creation at various stages: enameling, cooking, smoking and immersion in water... the four elements are used: air, water, fire and earth. But also the pleasure of making a unique piece! On the 1st day, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., you will shape your pieces. After drying, they will go to the electric oven. On the second day, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., you will enamel your pieces with an enamel that you will compose, then it will be Raku firing and the magic of smoking! Minimum 2 people, maximum 4 people.
