Plage de Bordardoué

We first cross a small dune protected by chestnut ganivelles, then we walk on the fine golden sand of a first beach, the slope of which is accentuated down to the water. It is a very frequented bathing area which enjoys good sunshine. To the right of the entrance, a large rock becomes the islet at rising tide. To the left, a few sandy coves allow you to isolate yourself, at low tide only. To the far right, after going around the cliff, opens a second beach all in length, less frequented. The beautiful cliff is a unique geological curiosity in the world. Its structure, in thin layers of tuff and quartz, multicolored and folded, testifies to the formation of the rocks of Belle Ile.
