Parc La Boussole

The Boussole play and experimentation park is an open-air park accessible to everyone from 1 to 1000 years old. Located behind the Vauban citadel at 121 rue du Mor Braz in Le Palais, it is open every day (from July 4th to August 29th, except for certain days) from 10 am to 1 pm and from 4 pm to 7 pm. Admission is €8 for children aged 2 to 12 and €5 for teenagers and adults. A 20% discount is offered to island residents, seasonal workers, people with disabilities, and those who have traveled with the Iliens company! Come and spend a timeless moment with family or friends, playing, manipulating, discovering, strolling, and experimenting in a natural, joyful, and colorful atmosphere. Games, but also XXL beanbag chairs and deckchairs for relaxing in the shade or sun, with a café and snack area (local and 100% organic products), in a historic and unique space, in the heart of the former penal colony and now the Place des Droits de l'Enfant (Children's Rights Square). Different areas are available with nearly a hundred games: • A large area with giant wooden games, board games, skill games, and traditional games, • A baby area with sensory wooden toys, books, and puzzles, • A construction games area (Kapla blocks, playhouses, wooden toys), • A large tinkering lab with sensory and musical games, creative games, exploration bins, and a mud kitchen. • A cabinet of curiosities. And above all, daily activities on the themes of: • construction and technology, • art, nature and creativity, • the 4 elements: water, earth, air, fire, • cardboard madness.
