The story of Gaec des Brebis began in 2017. Born from the meeting of two passionate individuals, this collaborative business project draws on the strengths of each: Jean Marc Guegan and Nathalie Nette. The story of Gaec des Brebis began in 2017. Born from the meeting of two passionate individuals, this collaborative business project draws on the strengths of each: Jean Marc Guegan and Nathalie Nette. Jean Marc's experience in sheep farming, having taken over the family farm, combined with Nathalie's drive and motivation, particularly her interest in processing and sales, has allowed them to offer yogurt, fresh cheese, and aged cheeses at markets, directly from the farm, and in a few shops on the island. As the only sheep milk producers on Belle-Île, you can find their products directly at their farm on Wednesdays and Fridays from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, as well as at the markets in Bangor, Locmaria, and Le Palais, and in grocery stores such as Kervi (Kervilahouen). In July and August, treat yourself to a delicious break at the farm! Every Wednesday, during your visit to the sheepfold, discover the fascinating world of our sheep and the expertise of our farm.
