Texts by Marcel Proust, Reynaldo Hahn and Sarah Bernhardt. Melodies and arias from operettas by Reynaldo Hahn, Schumann. Music by Reynaldo Hahn, Chabrier, Schumann Conception Blandine Jeannest Scenography and staging Jean Pierre Schneider With Sylviane Gentil: soprano Blandine Jeannest: soprano Matthieu Guary: baritone Magali Rubio: clarinet Véronique Menuet Stibbe: piano Jean Pierre Schneider: narrator The three characters that we are going to evoke in this spectacle met in Paris at the beautiful time in the living rooms of the aristocracy where the artists met. They also found themselves later in Belle ile en mer where they stayed on vacation at Fort Sarah Bernhardt. This is Marcel Proust (1871-1922) author of "Recherche du temps perdu" but also numerous correspondences including one with Reynaldo Hahn (1874-1947) famous composer of melodies and operettas, conductor and later director of the Opéra de Montecarlo as well as the Opéra de Paris and who was Proust's lover in the 1890s. made the first international star deserves to be discovered in her memoirs but the texts which concern her in this show come from a fictionalized biography written by Francoise Sagan. "Le Salon de Musique" interpreted by three singers, two instrumentalists and a narrator traces the atmosphere of audacity, tenderness and fantasy of the Belle Epoque. And even if the shadow of the war of 14 obscures the correspondences at one time, it invites the spectator to a lightness imbued with nostalgia over the melodies and arias of operettas whose finesse of writing can only touch hearts. .
