The Desk, Bed & Breakfast was designed for you: located 200 meters from Grands Sables beach, with direct access to the coastal path, it welcomes you in a calm and environmentally friendly setting, with breathtaking views of the ocean and the islands of Houat and Hoëdic. Open year-round, we believe in a more peaceful tourism, more respectful of the inhabitants and landscapes of Belle-Île — far from the crowded sites and in the heart of the peaceful countryside of Locmaria. - The room: Large, bright 25 m² room with double sea and valley views, bathroom with bathtub and separate toilet. Two hotel-quality beds (double or twin beds), sitting area with tea and herbal infusions fresh from our garden. A small additional room is available for a third person. Accessible via a separate staircase in an annex — your own private space to relax after your day. A large desk and a very high-speed internet connection (708 Mbps on average) are also available — ideal for sharing your adventures or working remotely without leaving nature. - Included services (minimum 2 nights): • Pick-up at the start and finish points of the GR 340 hiking trail • Transfers from Le Palais to accommodation included (hybrid vehicle) • Homemade picnic lunch on request (€15/person) • Electric bike rental delivered to the property • Loan of traditional bicycles • Booking of restaurants and activities with partner providers • Sports massage service for better recovery – price upon request - A breakfast rooted in the Belle-Île terroir: Every morning, a table laden exclusively with local and organic products: island butter and yogurt, artisanal bread and brioche, homemade jams. Fresh herbal teas from our permaculture garden. Served under the apple tree or on the terrace, weather permitting. - Practical Information • From €110 to €130/night — minimum stay 2 nights – €140/night from July 15th to August 15th • Small adjoining room for a 3rd person: €50/night, breakfast included • Microwave available in the main house – evenings only • 30% deposit upon booking • Open year-round • Pets not allowed 🍃ECO-RESPONSIBLE COMMITMENT CHARTER. Here are our concrete commitments. 💡Energy: Our electricity is supplied exclusively by Enercoop, a French cooperative of 100% renewable energy. We encourage our guests to adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives: turning off lights, limiting water consumption and the purchase of packaged products, using reusable water bottles instead of plastic bottles on the GR hiking trail, and taking their trash back to the guesthouse in the evening. 🥐Breakfast: • Organic and local products: Biocoop butter, yogurt, and apple juice, artisanal bread and brioche • Homemade organic jams, made on-site • Fresh herbal teas from our permaculture garden • No single-use packets or plastic packaging • Homemade picnics available upon request, prepared with the same high standards 🌍Preserved environment: We exclusively use household products free of ecotoxic substances, respectful of your health and local ecosystems—including the soil, water, and coastline of Belle-Île. The same high standards apply to the garden: no pesticides or chemical weed killers. Our permaculture garden is cultivated in harmony with the surrounding nature. 🚵‍♀️Sustainable Mobility: • Transfers from Le Palais and pick-up at GR (long-distance hiking trail) stops in hybrid vehicles • Loan of traditional bicycles • Electric bike rentals delivered on-site • Loan of guides for hiking in the island's interior 🗓️Year-Round Tourism: We are open all year round, out of conviction. Welcoming travelers outside of the summer peak season contributes to tourism that is more respectful of the flow of visitors, the residents, and the landscapes of Belle-Île. Discovering the island in autumn, winter, or spring is also a different way to experience it. ⚓Local Support & Territorial Economy: We prioritize producers and artisans from Belle-Île-en-Mer.
