“In the shade of a catalpa” Two carefully restored guest rooms to welcome you all year round! Located 10' walk from the port of Le Palais (shops, restaurants, markets), the beach, the coastal path, our house offers upstairs, with a private entrance, two guest rooms, which can accommodate from 2 to 4 people, for a minimum of 2 nights. Upstairs, you will have: - Two bedrooms with double beds with bedding - A bathroom with towels and a hairdryer - A toilet separate from the bathroom - D a “tea room” with kettle, coffee, tea, herbal tea, library, board games. On the ground floor, you will have the possibility of using: - A fridge/freezer to keep your purchases cool, which you can get 2´ walk from the house (grocery store), - A washing machine laundry and a dryer A baby bed, high chair, deckchair, car seat, booster seat will also be available to you. The house is equipped with a free and unlimited wifi system. In a peaceful and private garden, you can rest and have breakfast or in our dining room depending on the weather conditions. We will prepare you a breakfast composed of local products, mostly organic and able to adapt to each of you (allergy, intolerance, continental, energetic “special hiking”…) The hours are: From 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. In another part of the shaded garden, you can rest and read while keeping an eye on your children who will be able to benefit from the swing and outdoor games). Garden furniture (table, chairs, deckchairs) are at your disposal. Private parking will allow you to park your car. And if you come without a car, we will have the pleasure of picking you up when the boat arrives and taking you back when you leave. Payment for your stay can be paid by transfer, check or cash. International customers are welcome, we also speak English and Spanish. Our animal friends are not allowed because Petrus, our cat, asked us to have exclusivity of the house! What we respect! We kindly ask you not to smoke inside the house. If necessary, an ashtray will be made available to you in outdoor areas. And why not let yourself be guided so that you can plan your stay... If you wish, we can help you organize your days by offering: - Bike tours and rental addresses, - A secure bike shelter with possibility of recharging their battery. - Hiking circuits (we offer to accompany you at the start and finish of your excursion), - Addresses for horseback riding, water activities, etc. - A map of the island with its 56 beaches and its 4 towns, - The list of essential sites to visit on the island, - The program of the cinema, the Arletty room, festivities depending on the seasons, - Good places to eat and make your purchases pleasures, souvenirs (local products, markets, artisans, etc.), - Good “beauty and well-being” addresses - Bus timetables to help you get around the island (we are located between two bus stops on the coastal road)
