"In the shade of a catalpa" Two guest rooms carefully restored to welcome you all year round! New: we offer the hiking package (accommodation + transfers + picnic). Located 10 minutes walk from the port of Le Palais (shops, restaurants, markets), the beach, the coastal path, our house offers upstairs, with a private entrance, two guest rooms, which can accommodate 2 to 4 people, for a minimum of 2 nights. Upstairs, you will have: - Two bedrooms with bed linen, the beds are made upon your arrival: * a bedroom with a double bed * a bedroom with three single beds - A bathroom with towels - A toilet separate from the bathroom - A "herbal tea room" with kettle, coffee, tea, herbal tea, library, board games. On the ground floor, you will have the possibility to use: - A fridge/freezer (grocery store 2 minutes walk from the house) - A washing machine and a dryer The house is equipped with free and unlimited wifi. You can have breakfast on the terrace or in our dining room depending on the weather conditions. We will prepare a breakfast made with local products, mostly organic and can be adapted to your needs. The hours are from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. In a peaceful garden, you can relax, read while keeping an eye on your children who can enjoy the swing set and outdoor games. Private parking will allow you to park your car. And if you come without a car, we will be happy to pick you up when the boat arrives and bring you back when you leave. Our animal friends are not allowed because Petrus, our cat, has asked us to have exclusivity of the house! Which we respect! We thank you for: - Do not smoke inside the house. If necessary, an ashtray will be made available to you in the outdoor areas. - Do not take your meals on the 1st floor. If necessary, the terrace is available. And why not let yourself be guided so that you design your stay… If you wish, we can help you organize your days by offering you: - Bike tours and rental addresses, - A secure bike shelter with the possibility of recharging their batteries. - Hiking trails (we offer to accompany you to the start and finish of your excursion), - Addresses for horse riding, water sports, etc. - A map of the island with its 56 beaches and 4 towns, - The list of must-see sites to visit on the island, - The program of the cinema, the Arletty hall, festivities according to the seasons, - Good addresses to eat, to make your pleasure purchases, souvenirs (local products, markets, artisans, etc.), - Good addresses for “beauty and well-being” - Bus timetables to get around the island Two bus stops are located less than 100 m from the house: Bois du Génie and la grande Prairie
