THE TEAM AND EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE TOURIST OFFICE

The Belle-Île-en-Mer Tourist Office (OTBI) was founded in 1893. It is a public industrial and commercial establishment, run by a management committee comprising 21 members: 11 local elected representatives sitting on the Community Council and 10 professional or volunteer representatives from the tourism sector.

The Tourist Office works on behalf of:
– the Belle-Île Community of Municipalities (CCBI), which has delegated to it the task of welcoming visitors, providing information and promoting tourism;
– tourism partners, offering them the visibility they need for their activities and bringing them together.

The Governance of the Tourist Office

The Management Committee oversees the running of the Tourist Office. The Management Committee has 21 members, divided into 1 executive committee and 3 colleges.

The Tourist Office also has a team of year-round employees, consisting of five permanent staff members committed to satisfying and delighting visitors and residents, and one to four seasonal workers..
