Juanolo, my T'ai Chi Chuan maestro for several years, is pleased to join us on the weekend of August 16th and 17th for the practice of Yi Chuan. You will find the description below: Yi Chuan is a type of Internal Ch'i Kung or Nei Gong that recognizes the essence of the three Inner Arts: T'ai Chi Chuan, Pakua and Xing Yi. Emphasizing relaxation and the correct placement of our body structure, taking into account static and movement positions. In this way, we can succeed in reducing the tension in the different parts of our body that have accumulated and strengthen those that are too weak. The exercises are simple and the degree of requirement will be increased with the body understanding that will accompany us in our practice. Beyond physical appearance, this discipline opens a door for us to internally explore our habits, leads us to a higher awareness of our emotions and towards our personal growth. The practice does not require physical effort and is intended for any age. Although the course is exclusively focused on health, it can also benefit practitioners of martial arts or other body disciplines who are interested in deepening body structure and relaxation. Juanolo Gutiérrez is a physiotherapist and Yi Chuan teacher since 2010. He was a T'ai Chi Ch'uan teacher between 1994 and 2010. Author of the book "La mente extiende sus alas ensayos sobre la pràctica y transmission des T'ai Chi Ch'uan" (The mind extends its wings on the practice and transmission of T'ai Chi Ch'uan) in 2007
