I live on an island. There are places that feel like a given. Here, far from the cacophony of noise and sight, you find little corners of the world that confront you with what truly matters, where people have managed to preserve the wild in a setting of silence and storm. I found the place here, the right place, and a source of inspiration that, to this day, has not run dry. Here, there are these profound silences that sustain us and silence the clamor that overwhelms us, leaving in our peaceful minds a sense of emptiness, a gentle eternity of present moments. On the wild coast, during my almost daily walks, I let my thoughts drift to other places. Immersed in the flight of seabirds, lulled by the ebb and flow of the tide, I savor the winds, both floral and icy, when my gaze is no longer my own, drowned in the perpetual interplay of light between sky and sea, where each wave, each reflection is a gateway to other worlds, other dreams. Then, in this liquid garden, I gather the pearls offered to me. Open studio: Thursday, Friday & Saturday mornings from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm (April - October and during school holidays).
