Less known for its marine research activities than those of nautical sports, oyster farming or coastal fishing, the Mor Braz nevertheless sees regular work in marine sciences. Indeed, teams of researchers from state organizations as well as environmental design offices work all year round in this very special maritime zone. This environment, which is subject to strong pressures of human origin, must be better understood in order to better preserve it. Erwan Amice introduces us through his images to two major players in marine biodiversity in Mor Braz: the scallop and the Maërl beds. He then takes us to discover bio-acoustics in Quiberon Bay.
