What if you gave yourself the gift of starting the year by integrating habits that will allow you to be a true ally to yourself? To be able to find spaces of calm within yourself, to better manage your stress, to not be guided by your mind, to choose rather than react, to be able to better welcome your emotions, and to inhabit your body more fully. Mindfulness is about being here, there, and now, being able to observe what is happening within you without reacting, and when you strengthen your attention to return to the present, miracles happen! Better stress management, improved self-awareness, ability to prioritize, perspective, and a better relationship with oneself… The 12-session program: 1- Introduction to Mindfulness: Full Presence / Identify your goals. 2- Slowing down and reconnecting with your body, developing self-compassion. 3- Breathing: grounding, regulation, and relaxation. 4- Where does my attention go? Managing a wandering mind. 5- Observing your breath and how to integrate it into your daily life. 6- The mind: how to step back. 7- The workings of stress and emotions. 8- Moving beyond emotional reactivity and rumination. Making conscious choices. 9- Communication: listening and expressing yourself mindfully. 10- Strengthening the fundamentals. 11- Silence - a short meditative retreat. 12- Long-term practice plan and closing celebration. Associated practices will be shared throughout the 3 months: mindful pausing, body scan, calming breathing techniques for stress, gentle movement, an introduction to meditation through mindful sitting and walking, as well as audio recordings for practice. The premise is that, regardless of whether the practice is formal or informal, Mindfulness is a state that can be cultivated at any time. Looking forward to seeing you for these profoundly human, rejuvenating, sometimes humorous moments that allow us to establish lasting habits to better navigate life.
