SOIREE CONCERTS « ACADIE-QUEBEC » : avec Les HAY BABIES (ACADIE) + 1ère PARTIE : CAYENNE DUO (QUÉBEC)

Type of show: Concert Les Hay Babies: they are friends first: fun comes before work, and then work is done with fun. Acadians of New Brunswick origin, Julie Aubé, Katrine Noël and Vivianne Roy have been advancing their plural and sparkling folk-rock for more than a decade, renewing their musical proposal with each release. Discovered via the indie-folk / country EP Folio in 2012, they returned two years later with Mon homesick heart, a first album with contemporary folk-rock sounds. The 60s/70s rock and 80s ballads of La 4ième dimension (long version) followed in 2016, then the 70s pop/disco of Boîte aux lettres in 2020. A fourth album "Entre Chiens et Loup", this one inspired by the roots rock of Louisiana jukeboxes, will follow in 2024. Changes of direction always, therefore - which is as much the band's trademark as its unwavering enthusiasm and its interest in updating past sounds... Cayenne Duo: With its uninhibited folk-rock, it takes the audience where jazz, Latin music and hip-hop sometimes burst in. Cayenne combines musical road trips and personal stories to bring the audience together around a show with a well-crafted narrative.
