Philippe Dannic has been a professional photographer for 40 years. "There are these landscapes, waves, and rocks, whose fascinating and violent splendor I tirelessly seek to capture. And then there are the 5,600 islanders, by birth or choice, with whom I live and to whom I want to pay tribute. To record what their faces tell us, to evoke their history and the traces of their lives."
