For the filming of Emmanuelle Bercot's upcoming feature film, "L'Enragé" (The Madman), adapted from the novel of the same name by Sorj Chalandon, the production is seeking extras. This project is produced by Les Films du Worso and Pathé with the support of Bretagne Cinéma (personalized support from the Film Commission). PROFILES SOUGHT: - Men and women of all ages to portray villagers, fishmongers, fishermen, dancers, police officers, disabled people, Bagad and brass band musicians... Please note, the film is set in 1934: No colored hair, overly modern haircuts, visible tattoos, or piercings. For men over 40, mustaches and beards are welcome! Synopsis: In 1934, 56 boys escape from the Belle-Île-en-Mer penal colony. Jules Bonneau, nicknamed "La Teigne" (The Scoundrel), is the only one who is not recaptured. He will have to hide on the island and learn to live with his demons. Additional information: Filming will take place from March 9th to March 25th, 2026 on Belle-Île. Living near the filming location is an advantage. The production will not cover transportation costs. Compensation will be in accordance with the minimum wage stipulated in the film industry collective agreement. Costume and hair fittings will take place during January.
