Opéra sur Écran : La Flûte enchantée de Mozart

The Festival Lyrique en Mer, in partnership with Angers Nantes Opéra and the Rennes Opera, invites you to attend the free live broadcast of The Magic Flute. It's been ten years since we last saw The Magic Flute in Nantes and Angers! Mozart's ultimate masterpiece is this time staged by Mathieu Bauer, who is very keen to remain in the spirit of the tale and therefore of a certain naiveté. After all, what Pamina and Tamino, Papageno and Papagena experience is a little beyond these still very tender young people. The magician Sarastro will therefore take them by the hand and will hold ours, too, to lead us through trials that will take the form of a ghost train ride at a funfair. The brilliant cast of this brand-new production is conducted by Nicolas Ellis, the new musical director of the Orchestre National de Bretagne.
