Dive into Belle-Île life in 1884 and follow Marie, a young worker in a sardine cannery in the port of Le Palais, during the height of the sardine crisis. Blending poignant fiction with historical reality, this immersive audio tour reveals the world of fishing, the sardine industry, and Belle-Île's heritage: the Vauban citadel, the Lordship's House, the ramparts, the history of the Acadians… Thanks to lively narration, soundscapes, and original music, you'll experience total immersion in the daily lives of 19th-century inhabitants. 🎧 A free, immersive experience rooted in the heritage of Belle-Île. This immersive walk includes: • Approximately 60 minutes of listening: 10 audio episodes of 4 to 7 minutes each, • Approximately 90 minutes of walking (listening, breaks, and contemplation) along a 3 km route in the port of Le Palais, • A map available at the tourist office (also downloadable digitally).
