The Poulains Lighthouse has existed since 1868. Located at the northern tip of Belle-Île, it is now automated and operates thanks to solar panels installed on part of the roof. It watches over 24 miles of sea and warns sailors of the dangers of the coastline. The lighthouse can be visited during the opening hours of the Maison du Littoral.
