Le Mois du Doc au cinéma Le Petit Bal Perdu : "Put your soul on your hand and walk"

A documentary by Sepideh Farsi and Fatma Hassona. It recounts the exchanges between a Palestinian photographer, later killed by the IDF, and a documentary filmmaker. *Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk* is my response, as a filmmaker, to the ongoing massacres of Palestinians. A miracle occurred when I met Fatem Hassona. She lent me her eyes to see Gaza, where she resisted by documenting the war, and I became a link between her and the rest of the world, from her "Gaza prison," as she called it. We maintained this lifeline for over 200 days. The fragments of pixels and sounds we exchanged became the film you see. Fatem's assassination on April 16, 2025, following an Israeli attack on her home, forever changed its meaning.
