Ensemble et en musique relevons le défi ! "Les Guerveur"

It's time for the official launch of the collection to acquire and renovate the Guerveur patronage! With all of you and the Fondation du Patrimoine, let's give the band a permanent home! For several decades, the musical association Les Guerveur has been based in the Chapelle des Dames, located in the city center of Palais, which it uses as a place for rehearsals and the life of the association. The Palais town hall now wishes to acquire the Chapelle des Dames put up for sale by the Diocese in order to perpetuate this emblematic associative activity in the cultural, associative and social landscape of Belle-Île. It is launching an appeal to the Fondation du Patrimoine to help it with this acquisition project, which will be followed by restoration work on the chapel, undertaken by the Les Guerveur association, to safeguard and preserve a common heritage. The chapel currently requires general restoration. Masonry, carpentry, framework and roofing work are necessary, as well as the repair of installations that have become obsolete, such as the electrical installations. The chapel will be exclusively dedicated to the Les Guerveur association. It will house the association's headquarters, a meeting room, a rehearsal room and storage spaces suitable for the proper conservation of instruments, scores and musicians' outfits.
