She taught biology before becoming the manager of the "François LE BAIL" geological reserve on Groix Island for 31 years. Islands are dependent on rainwater, and freshwater management has had to adapt to the inhabitants' way of life. Freshwater management on Groix Island has profoundly shaped the landscape with the creation of infrastructure (dam, lagooning, wastewater treatment plants, drinking water plant).
