Discover the magic of raku firing with Sarah in a friendly and engaging workshop. After an introduction to the technique and safety guidelines, you'll choose a piece (cup, bowl, or saucer) and apply your glaze. Then comes the spectacular firing at temperatures between 900 and 1000°C, followed by the hot removal from the kiln and the smoking process, which reveals the famous raku crackle effect. Cleaning, care tips, and a discussion conclude the workshop. You'll leave with your unique piece and a deeper understanding of this fascinating technique.
