It is a beach of fine sand, oriented to the south-east. It is divided in two by a small, low stone jetty. At high tide the beach shrinks a lot. At low tide, on the contrary, it offers a beautiful gently sloping surface. It is a site which was fortified from the 17th century. Remains of the thick defensive wall as well as the entrenchment, built later are still visible at the entrance to the beach and on the left, at the outlet of the valley. A fort dating from the Second Empire and transformed into a second home, dominates the cove.
