About 600m long, the Pointe de Pouldon overlooks the sea from about fifty meters. Very steep all around, it ends with a large isolated rock, the Djuir. Historically, this point has been considered a strategic point for defense. Site protected by the Conservatoire de l'Espace Littoral et des Rivages Lacustres, it is home to moors and lawns which form a unique natural environment in Europe and is included in the Natura 2000 perimeter and the classified perimeter (1930 law) of Belle-Île. at sea. It is a site managed by the community of municipalities of Belle Ile en Mer. Like Port Goulphar and Port Kérel, it is an estuary that ends on a small beach.
