Au Coin des Producteurs

Point of sale in Mérézelle. 13 years ago, Au Coin Des Producteurs (ACDP) was created at the instigation of a handful of women farmers. These pioneers of the short circuit wanted to improve their daily lives, and ensure the future of their profession and their families. They decided to come together to sell their products together, directly. Their work paid off and today, ACDP highlights the local productions of a dozen Belliloise farms within a collective point of sale. Three of them are certified organic farming. At the collective point of sale there are: eggs, meat, poultry, charcuterie, fruit and vegetables, honey and derivatives, herbal teas, mohair wool, dairy products, artisanal preserves... and the farmers, who participate in the sale! The productions are resolutely respectful of nature, by: limiting our inputs, favoring animal well-being and not chasing excessive yield. As part of a continuous improvement process, Au Coin des Producteurs is committed to offering consumers only foodstuffs produced on the island. ACDP wants to be a player in the food transition and is committed to creating a Bellilois, sustainable and autonomous food system. Consuming ACDP means participating in the development of the local processing of our productions and our local food industry, it gives us the chance to diversify our productions, by encouraging innovative agriculture that respects the environment. Belle-Île is a very special territory, which makes it rich but also its fragility. Our association creates a link between producers and consumers, and relies on the short circuit to keep our territory alive and healthy.
