Guide to renting your accomodation

The visitors' tax

The visitors' tax: is a mandatory tax charged throughout the year (calculated per person and per night) by people providing rented accommodation and paid to the Communauté de Communes de Belle-Île-en-Mer (CCBI). Disabled people and children under 13 are exempt. IMPORTANT: any accommodation provided in exchange for remuneration is subject to the visitors' tax, including accommodation not registered at the tourist office.

You will find the amount of the visitors' tax on the tourist office's website: www.belle-ile.com and on the CCBI's website: www.ccbi.fr
As the tourist office is not in charge of renting out apartments or villas, it may not under any circumstances be held responsible for any breach of the contract by either party, regarding prices or availability.
